DJ sound crew in Sydney, we pride ourselves as the ambassadors for Soca music in Australia. Our events focus on all aspects of Caribbean culture. In the Dancehall arena, SDM has collaborated with local Dancehall Sound Systems such as the notorious Nasty Tek and Firehouse. SDM are the offical deejays for the Australian Miss Reggae Mite Contest, Carnival Craziness and Dancehall Queen Finals. SDM has supported international artistes such as Junior Reid and Mykal Rose. Internationally, we have played at Trinidad's Carnival on the road with TRIBE as well as at IGNITE with artistes Bunji Garlin, Faye-Ann Lyons, Kes The Band, Destra, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Iwer George & KMC. In 2008 we officially launched TRIBE Australia to expose Trini culture in the land down under and also hosted the launch party for REGGAE & SOCA GOLD for VP Records. In 2007 we introduced podcasting and launched SDM Radio. Today our broadcasts capture global listeners across all continents. SPIN D MUSIC has evolved into a resource for Caribbean music, events, entertainment news and multimedia for enthusiasts worldwide. |
